The time is near… The time is near where all the crew members that are stranded onboard the cruise ships will go home and hundreds thousands crew at home will be employed to replace them.
It is estimated that approximately 250,000 crew are seafarers working onboard cruise ships which 80% of them are working at the galley(kitchen), housekeeping, restaurant, bar, reception, customer service, photo, shops, spa, casino, entertainment, just to name a few.
The majority of crew working in these departments, they will soon return home for their annual vacation and this will create a huge opening in cruise ships new jobs in the hospitality sector! Of course we can not exclude the officers and management crew as well from the rest of the hotel department as well as deck & engine, who will need to be replaced by new crew as well.
With the current situation cruising is expected to resume to normal before the end of the year 2020. This will create hundreds of thousands of job openings in the last quarter of the year.
Cruise lines can not operate their ships without crew and this is a big opportunity for new jobs.
Cruising will not be the same anymore. This is an industry that will be stronger than ever.
